Service

Where we travel to
Be it the vets, the groomers, a day out at the beach, or moving house, we’re here to help. We can take you on journeys local to our base in Ross-on-Wye Town, on short journeys within a 10-mile circumference of Ross-on-Wye, or on long-distance excursions across the UK of up to 8 hours.

Who we carry
We provide a taxi service for pets and owners who want to travel together. We prefer not to transport pets without their owners.
We cater to a wide variety of animals including, cats, dogs, rabbits, rodents, reptiles, and birds.
We’re happy to carry more than one pet from the same household. No other animals will be traveling with you unless it’s yours. Depending on the journey distance and the space available, we may consider carrying luggage and additional passengers.

How we Transport your Pet Safely
Pets are required to travel in their crate or will need to be harnessed. We recommend that smaller pets travel using their own carrier suited to the requirements that they’re familiar with. If needed, we’re able to provide: a Crate/Carrier (size/s…); Car Seat Hammock; Harness (up to 50cm length or lead adapted); Pet Ramp; Collar; Muzzle; Water, and Bowl/Dispenser; Food; Blankets and Puppy Pot.
We use negative ion and ozone generators to sterilize vehicles and pet carriers between each run and we only use pet-safe chemicals for cleaning. PetPilote is a fully insured and licensed pet transporter with a DEFRA Type 1 license. We are covered by public liability and hold a current Pet First Aid certificate.
A bit about car…?
All vehicles have a recording camera fitted. By booking a journey with us, you are consenting to the use of cameras inside the vehicle.
Smoking or vaping is not permitted inside the vehicles.

Other Recommendations
We recommend bringing along your little friends' favorite soft toy with a familiar scent, this will help your pet to relax as we travel.
We recommend that you avoid feeding your pet before you travel on a long journey to avoid an upset tummy.
We ask that you take care of the toilet routine and anticipate the toilet breaks required.
